A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §7-11-5a; to amend said code by adding thereto a new section, designated §8-21-10a; to amend and reenact §19-25-3 of said code; to amend said code by adding thereto a new section, designated §20-5-3a, and to amend and reenact §20-4-5 all relating to liability for injury, loss or damage on recreational property; limiting the liability of the section of Parks and Recreation of the Division of Natural Resources; limiting the liability of county parks and recreation commissions, boards of parks and recreation commissioners, any officer or agent of a nonprofit state park of forest foundation; clarifying the liability of owners of land, regardless of remuneration, used for public parks and recreation purposes under an agreement with any of the foregoing entities; and providing that equestrians not engaged in a commercial venture who are using the land are not required to maintain public liability insurance.
